Caring and Caution for Your Oils

1. Pregnancy: of the products listed here, simple inhalation will not harm mother or baby. Skin or bath applications are not recommended at this time. Consult Jackie for further treatment.
2. Some essential oils may be toxic, never take orally or use internally.
3. Tea tree and Lavender may be used directly on the skin. No other oils can be applied in this manner. Burning may occur.
4. Essential oils are volatile (evaporate in air) therefore, caps must be kept closed.
5. Do not leave your oils in sunlight or the car. Heat will destroy effectiveness.
6. Lemon and Orange are photosensitive (may cause sunburn)
7. Do not use the essential oil if you are allergic to the plant.
8. Keep oils out of he reach of children or those that might be confused about their usage.

Recipes

NEW PRODUCT: Topical Pain Relief

Add 11 drops of this blend to 2 oz. of carrier oil, rub a few drops into aching area.

Great for arthritis, fibromyaligia, muscle strain.

Colds & Respiratory: 4 drops Eucalyptus, 2 drops each Peppermint and Tea Tree in compress or steam inhalation.  Reduce to 1/2 for children.

Insomnia: 1 drop Lavender on the pillow

Headaches: 1 drop each Lavendar and Peppermint in 2 teaspoon carrier oil, mesage temples and the back of neck.

Feeling Faint or Nauseous: Inhale Peppermint or Geranium.

Athelete's Foot: 1 drop Tea Tree in 2 teaspoons carrier oil, massage feet, wear cotton socks.

Tooth Ache: Clove Bud applied around tooth with Q-tip (not for children)

Kitchen Cleaner:  drops Lemon and 2 drops Geranium in water.

Clothes: 3 drops Lavender and Geranium in rinse cycle.

Room Spray: 10 Drops each Grapefruit, Lavender, Geranium in 8 oz water.

Carrier Oil is a cold pressed oil such as Sesame Seed Oil, Almond, Grapeseed or Fractionated Coconut oil.
 (Found in the massage/cosmetic section in your health food store or WalMart.)
