Problem 1: Loss of appetite and refusal to eat by resident resulting in loss of weight.

To stimulate weight gain: "Appetite Stimulant"

Use 20 drops of blend in 8 oz. of water in spray bottle. Spray clothing protector/bib before placing on resident before each meal.

Problem 2: "Sun-downing" and the increase in noise and disruptive behaviors in the early evening.

Depression, sun-downing, emotional & behavioral problems: "Restore Peace"

Add 3-4 drops of blend to electric Aromatherapy diffuser daily.

For individual application, use any of the following methods: 1-2 drops of blend on stuffed animal, tissue, hankie, gauze square, scarf or on the shirt as needed.

Problem 3: Insomnia/increase in wakefulness at night, especially insomnia that did not respond to medication.  Pain management.

Pain management and insomnia: "Helps Relieve Insomnia & Pain"

For pain management: place 1-2 drops of the blend on tissue and allow the resident to inhale as need. For insomnia: Two hours before bed time place in crock pot 2 drops of blend in enough water to cover wash cloths and allow to warm. Wring out cloth and have the resident pat their face while inhaling and drape cloth over the bed rail for the rest of the night. OR place I drop of the blend on the pillow.

Problem 4: Stimulation for one on one work regarding short term memory or rehab physical.

Place 3-4 drops of blend in electric diffuser, OR place 2-4 drops of blend on silk flowers, OR allow resident to inhale from felt pad or tissue.
